Absolute Radio is a digital station based in the United Kingdom operated and owned by Bauer Radio. Country Hits Radio premiered on April 5, 2019, under its original name and intending to be the first national country music radio station in the United Kingdom. Modern country music is the main playlist. Ages 25–44 make up the target demographic. Early 2020 RAJAR data predicts an average of 257k weekly listeners for the station. London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, South Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, Lancashire, East Yorkshire, Tyne & Wear, Teesside, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Tayside, Inverness, and Ayr can all listen to Absolute Radio Country, thanks to digital audio broadcasting. Digital radio broadcasts of it were launched in Bristol and Bournemouth in 2021.
