Kane Radio 103.7 FM exists to reach out to young people outside the mainstream, providing an alternative music culture, and opportunities for volunteers. Originally a 1990s pirate station, with a name inspired by the film Citizen Kane, where idealism slides into dictatorship, Kane Radio FM provided the kind of output ignored by traditional radio. Since 2011, Kane Radio FM has been a not-for-profit community service, broadcasting from Surrey University, and covering Guildford and around. Tune in at 103.7 FM, find it online.

Funded by grants, advertising, sponsorship and donations, Kane Radio FM involves itself in local events, such as its Funky End tent at Guilfest with DJs, MCs and producers. It also supports other charities, taking part in fundraisers like the London to Brighton Bike Ride.
