BBC Radio Foyle
BBC Radio Foyle is a local Irish radio station in Northern Ireland. BBC owns the station, and the first air date was 11/09/1979. It is named after the River Foyle, a river that flows through Derry, where the station is based. In Derry, the station broadcasts on 93.1 FM, and it's also available on 792 kHz MW.
BBC Radio Foyle deals with local, national and international news, sports, weather updates and travel. Their popular programs include Caschlár, Stephen McCauley (Electric Mainline) ("Afternoon Show"), The Breakfast Show, News bulletins including sport, News at One and Sportsound, Rejoice, Stephen McCauley in the Afternoon and The Friday Show. BBC Radio is also available online on DAB digital radio, Freeview, Freesat, Sky (in North Ireland and the UK) and Virgin Media.
